Joe Schillaci and I will be touring the United States in January, kicking out tour off on Monday in Bay City, Michigan. We will be hitting several states, and tour dates are posted on my website. I will not have much time to blog due to the demanding speaking and traveling schedule in January, so I will return to this blog in February. The music video and song “Tonight” by LG Wise has been released, and is doing very well. The Youtube video has over 40,000 views in less than three weeks, and people seem to be enjoying the song on itunes. An 8th grader at Cummings Middle School in Brownsville, Texas was killed by police today while brandishing a gun in the hallway of his middle school. The media reported that the student “engaged” the officer, and he was forced to use deadly force. The incident happened during the first hour of school, the hour that I teach is the most deadly hour of the school day. The school was then placed on lockdown, and nobody else was injured at the school. It is unclear if the student fired any shots, or what his motive was to bring the gun to school….

Phil Chalmers’ book “Inside the Mind of a Teen Killer” has inspired a college classs in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Students at Centenary College have a chance to take a very cool undergrad class, titled “Inside the Mind of a Teenage Killer.” After reading Phil’s book, Professor Dr. Christine Floether made the decision to use the book to base her class on. Self-described as an anarchist with a penchant for “extreme violence,” 16-year-old John Katehis was arrested for the murder of radio host, 47-year-old George Weber. Katehis is claiming self defense in the murder, and that he killed the victim during a S&M sex act. Katehis has appeared in court with “Prince of Darkness” scrawled on the sides of his shoes, and has claimed Weber was a sex predator and a drunk. The teen was arrested in March of 2009 for stabbing the adult male to death, and the two met through sex ads on Craigslist. Authorities claim Weber was stabbed…
A new study released by the Justice Policy Institute, with a website of JusticePolicy.org, claims School Resource Officers, or police officers in schools are a bad idea, and a waste of taxpayer’s money. As I meet SRO’s around the country, including the NASRO class above last week in Hobbs, New Mexico, I am stunned and bothered by this study. Their biggest claim is because students are being arrested by police officers in the schools, their education is interrupted. Donald Rudolph, 18, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, was arrested for the triple murder of his family and mother’s boyfriend. The victims were his older sister, 24-year-old Caylin Rudolph, his mother, 50-year-old Paula Rudolph, and his mother’s boyfriend, 52-year-old Fred Medina. The victims were killed with a knife and a hammer, and one of the deceased victims had a Beanie Baby stuffed in their mouth. The boyfriend was found on the first floor, and the mother and sister were found in the garage. Rudolph was found crawling out of the cellar window with blood on his hands, and told the police he…
